NYC Albert Cabrera needs no introduction but perhaps a brief walk through down memory lane of his 31 year musical journey.

While Albert is better known as one half of the Latin Rascals and one half of Lee Cabrera you may also want to know that if you danced to classics like India's "Love & Happiness", Barbara Tucker's "Beautiful People" or David Morales "Needing U", then you were also grooving to Albert's musical tricks for the dance floor and if you have listened to classics like New Order's "Bizarre Love Triangle", then you have listened to Albert as a percussionist.

Albert Cabrera's 31 years takes us through a musical journey through all kinds of genres; starting as a Master Mix DJ for New York's hottest radio stations WKTU (1982-1985) and 98.7 Kiss FM as the main 3 hour master mix DJs (1985-1989).

Albert Cabrera's DJ skills lead him to being hired in the studio but instead of doing his magic for radio he did his musical tricks for legendary producers like Arthur Baker, Shep Pettibone, Mark Kamins for projects like Diana Ross, Bruce Springsteen, Hall & Oates, Cyndi Lauper, New Order, Madonna, B-52's, Level 42, Nuance, Oingo Boingo. Plus touring as the Latin Rascals drummer, performing their hit Arabian Knights and even scoring a multi platinum production hit for the Fat Boys "The Twist" with the Beach Boys.

Albert is considered a freestyle legend and editing king for his unbelievable edits like Safire, Corina, Noel, Information Society, TKA, Fascination and hundreds more projects he has edited and engineered.

Around 1995 Louie Vega got Albert to rework George Benson's "You Can Do It" and from there Albert's UK house journey began working for super stars like Masters At Work, Todd Terry, Danny Tenaglia, Roger Sanchez. David Morales where Albert specialized in his Rascal Dubs which then lead Albert into UK house production with his first house hit "Just Me & You by New Vision..then a collaboration with David Morales hit "Higher" combining their last names to spell MOCA as the artist title..

In 2001 Albert teamed with Steven Lee and reworked "Reach" by Eric Morillo & Louie Vega which became an Ibiza smash followed by a bigger smash "Shake it" leading them into a slew of remixes and gigs all over the world.

Alberts current releases includes a rework of Louie Vega/Jocelyn Brown "You Are Everything". A solo release titled "Rascal Heights" for Distar Records Italy, a Tribal and Funky house remix for Robert Clivilles "Set Me Free" a remix collaboration with Australia's Marcus Knight titled "IF" plus a special treat that Albert has reconnected with his long time Latin Rascal buddy Tony Moran for many different projects including a team remix called "Drink The Night Away" and a #1 Billboard gem "So Happy" featuring Jason Walker.
